ART AT ELYSIUM

 

A collection of Geoff's original artworks and canvas prints can be found on display at Elysium Skin

Centre from September 2014.  Elysium Skin Centre is a new purpose-built boutique cosmetic

medicine, laser and dermal therapy clinic located at 17 Bowen Bridge Rd (cnr Campbell St), Herston.

All exhibited works at the clinic are available for sale.

GEOFF AWARDED PEOPLE'S CHOICE AWARD AT THE DIMENSIONS NC ART FESTIVAL, NUDGEE COLLEGE

People's Choice Award - "Farewell Fotini", Pastel, 100 x 60cm

 

The Dimensions NC Art Festival Awards were announced on 10th August 2012 at St Joseph's Nudgee College, Boondall.  Geoff was awarded the People's Choice Award for his pastel, "Farewell Fotini", and received a Highly Commended Award for the same work in the Open 2D Category.

The 8th Annual d'Arcy Doyle Landscape Art Award winners were announced on 8th December at the Mudgeeraba

Foundation Centre Gallery, Mudgeeraba.  Geoff was awarded the $6000 1st prize for his pastel, "Sunset From Currumbin Rock".

'ESCAPE TO GREECE' ART EXHIBITION 2011

 



Geoff's latest solo exhibition was held
at Circle Gallery, West End, 7th - 11th Oct 2011.  This show included a collection of artworks inspired by Geoff's recent trip to the Greek Islands.  Also featured in this exhibition were new works capturing some of Queensland's beautiful beaches.

GEOFF AWARDED PEOPLE'S CHOICE AWARD AT THE CREATIVO ARTS GALA, MARTIN GALLERIES

 

The Creativo Arts Gala Awards (hosted by Our Lady of the Angels' Catholic Primary School) were announced on 5th March 2011 at Martin Galleries, Nundah.  Geoff was awarded the People's Choice Award for his oil painting,

"Wellington Point Jetty No.3".

The Live Life Villages 4th Annual Art Prize winners were announced on 19th June by Australian Living Legend and Live Life Villages Ambassador, Dawn Fraser at the exhibition held at Brookland Village Community Centre, Robertson.  Geoff Hale's pastel entitled "Sandgate Pylons" was awarded the $5,500 Acquisitive First Prize from 142 entries by emerging and professional artists and sculptors.  Geoff's "Beach Path" was also voted the People's Choice Award during the exhibition.

 

The exhibition is open Friday 18th June to Sunday 20th June 10am - 3pm at the Brookland Village Community Centre, 18 Romulus Street, Robertson.

LURE OF THE OCEAN ART EXHIBITION 2009

 

 

Geoff's solo exhibition, 'Lure Of The Ocean', was presented at Circle Gallery, West End, from 4 Dec - 9 Dec 2009. Congratulations to Andrew Liston of Holland Park who won the exhibition raffle prize - a framed original pastel artwork by Geoff Hale, "Alexandra Headland Dawn No 5".

COLLECTION OF WORKS ON DISPLAY

 

A collection of Geoff's artworks is on display at "Specialist Connect", a new Specialist Medical Centre which has recently opened at Woolloongabba in Brisbane.  All artworks are for sale.  Proceeds from the sale of these artworks will be donated to HOPE4HEALTH, a charity organisation coordinated by Griffith University.  Artworks on display from 20th April 2008.

COMMISSION FOR RESTAURANT

Geoff was commissioned by Cafe Fuscia to produce an artwork which reflected the Italian

flair of the restaurant. The resulting oil on canvas was a black & white Venetian scene with

a red focal point, produced as a triptych.  Artwork on display from 1st January 2008.

KENILWORTH ARTS FESTIVAL

A pastel artwork from Geoff's "Alexandra Headland Dawn" series has been selected for display at Blind Man's Bluff Vineyards during the Kenilworth Celebrates! Arts Festival.  Artworks will be on display for a couple of weeks from Friday 21st September 2007.  Blind Man's Bluff Vineyards is located at Cnr. Bluff & Wilcox Roads, Kenilworth, Qld.
