Words cannot describe how special Bronson is to me and how important he is in our life.  I have been diagnosed that I cannot have children of my own, so he is like a child to us.  The amazing job you have done of capturing his personality will brighten our lives forever.

We commissioned Geoff to do a painting of our house.  This was a wonderful decision for us, as not only is Geoff one of the most talented young artists around but his attention to customer service and support is exceptional.  Geoff visited our home and gave us some great suggestions regarding the approach that he would take and the format he would use. It is with great pleasure and respect, we write this testimonial to the talented Geoff Hale upon our recent commission of our belated and beloved Bazil.

 

We were seeking an appropriate memorial, apart from the standard and usual photographs, in remembrance of our Bazil and his wonderful 14 years he shared with our family and friends.  Recently, we engaged Geoff in commissioning a portrait of Bazil, which now takes pride of place in our home.

 

Geoff took the time to meet with us, providing professional guidance and advice in undertaking the portrait, and we also provided insight into Bazil's life to encapture him within the portrait.

 

Our family and friends are purely amazed and delighted with our portrait memorial to Bazil, everyone commenting on the attention to detail, the accurate reflection in Bazil's colour and shadings and how the portrait has superior detailing than a photograph.

 

With the completed portrait, it is as though Bazil has been brought back to life and is still very much a part of our daily lives.

I feel compelled to write this testimonial for the completed and outstanding art work that the artist, Geoff Hale, has commissioned for my dog (Breed: Lhasa Apso – ‘Ruby’).

 

I initially came across the work of Geoff Hale on his website whilst searching for a talented artist that had the unique quality of bringing life to each piece of work, whether scenic, abstract or pet portrait. I was particularly impressed by his breadth of skill and the vivacity he ignites in each of his pieces. At the time the photograph was taken, Ruby was 9 months old and Geoff only had a palm size photograph to work from as well as meeting her for a brief few moments but he captured her texture, poise, personality and her temperament; exquisitely. He simply 'worked his magic' to encapsulate my dog at her best!

 

My understanding is that Geoff prefers the client to see the piece before being framed, however I specially requested he find a suitable matting and frame that simply ‘brought my Ruby to life’ and put the whole piece together for my birthday gift. I had total trust in his judgment and we agreed on the final cost. On the morning of my birthday, my husband and I stood back and were aghast, for the pastel was life like; more so than the photograph he had to work from. Ruby looked as though she could be picked up straight from the frame and held in my arms. I was totally smitten with his work.

 

Unreservedly, I can strongly recommend Geoff Hale as a professional artist who listens closely to his client and understands the passion behind each pastel he works with.
